Is DHCP still disabled on the router? The Eye-Fi Card needs DHCP enabled so that it can get an IP address. Other than that it looks like the issue was the other settings in the router, so hopefully you are good to go now. Let us know.

I officially give up!

With all of the troubleshooting I've done and also the help from you guys, still no success.

I talked to comcast cable over three days last week and I'm convinced that it's additional network security that they set up for business customers. I kept trying to explain what I was trying to do and had to re-explain to every person I talked to. At this early stage in the life of Eye-Fi/Shuttersnitch, none of those guys had any answers besides what we tried before. I kept repeating that I am a Comcast customer and it works perfectly as soon as I walk into my house, but no success. Very frusterating.

Sad to hear Comcast was no help, but having dealt with them I'm not too surprised. There are a couple ways to work around the Comcast router. Let us know if you are interested in them. You have a good idea on the set up, especially since it convinces your customers to give you permission to email them and you can watermark the image with your logo.

Port 26000 is used for FTP transfers, not Eye-Fi transfers. The Eye-Fi cards speak on port 59278 - could this be the problem?

The best solution may be to use at the nightclub a separate router which is dedicated to your camera/iPad setup. I believe the camera (Eye-FI) and iPad (ShutterSnitch) can transfer just using the router's network -- no separate Internet connection required.

For emailing, you would need an Internet connection. This could be done by plugging the camera-dedicated router into the Comcast router via Ethernet. If the security is too high on the Comcast router, the emailing could also be done using an iPad with cellular service.

When I go out on paying gigs, I always bring my own router because 1) I don't want the hassle of configuring my equipment for the client's network, 2) I don't trust the client's network signal quality or amount of WiFi traffic, and 3) it makes troubleshooting much easier since I already know the equipment all works together.

I've been setting up a similar thing, but I'll be in different locations and wouldn't want to figure this out for each different wifi network, so I'm just going to use the cell service on the iPad to send the photos (only about 100k each). I've got the iPad jailbroken and use MyWi to create a wifi network for the card to connect to, which seems to transfer photos just as fast as Direct Mode. Then, the iPad will use the 3G data connection for sending emails with photos.
