Dropbox action failed on iPad 2

Postby Moosemilk » Tue May 29, 2012 7:58 pm

Trying to set up a Dropbox action, exporting photos captured by ShutterSnitch via my Eye-Fi XPro on my Canon 5D Mark III. Each time I get an action failed message.

I wasn't sure about what path to indicate so I tried several including: (blank), "Photos", "Photos/Shuttersnitch", "Shuttersnitch" and "shuttersnitch", thinking maybe it had something to do with uppercase case and lowercase. Of course I created the corresponding folders in Dropbox before setting up and executing the actions.

Any advice?

Cheers,

MM

Have you checked to make sure you have free space in your DropBox account? If you have enough memory available then I would re-enter your email address and password to DropBox to make sure they are entered correctly.

Thanks for the reply MadDawgJ and sorry to have wasted your time. If anyone else out there is as brain dead as I was while trying to upload your photos to Dropbox on your iPad through a ShutterSnitch action and didn't take into account your Eye-Fi being connected to your iPad in Eye-Fi's "Direct Mode", thereby losing your Internet connection while you are shooting, consider yourself lucky that you haven't embarrassed yourself the same way I just did and wasted any more of your life.

Sure enough, as soon as I finished shooting and my WiFi Internet connection was re-established on my iPad, the action worked.

Thanks,

MM
