Get Rid Of Blue Dot To Save Space

In the filmstrip below the main preview of the image, it'd be great to get rid of the blue dot which shows which image you're on and replace it with a border around the image or some sort of highlight for the image. It would save precious vertical space in the app to view the main image larger.

You know you can resize or hide the filmstrip if you want.

you just mean full screen mode, right? or is there a way to hide the filmstrip but keep the top info bar?
