large thumbnail grid for viewing

I'd love to see the option of turning on large thumbnails in a grid for viewing the images instead of small thumbnails at the bottom of a single image. Something similar to the stock photo app, but with larger thumbnails. Then you can simply tap the image to get in and out of full screen view.

What do you think?

+1 for this. Having a grid would be really handy and more useful than just the strip at the bottom of the page.

I second that. A grid view would make the handling /reviewing much easier. In addition I would like to have a "go to first picture" / "go to last picture" button.
