I've got a Nikon d90 with an eyefi pro x2 card, a battery-powered wireless router (no internet connection), my Ipad arrives in a couple of weeks, and Shuttersnitch will be my first app purchase.
Couple of questions:
1. Is there a list of editing features that can be done with Shuttersnitch? Cropping? Exposures? etc?
2. I prefer to shoot raw+jpg. Once the images are on the Ipad, can I send just the jpg to an ftp server using the ipad's 3g connection with shuttersnitch? Would this work if I shoot just jpg?
3. Is there a way to tag individual jpgs from within Shuttersnitch? Maybe add keywords in the metadata.
I've got a workflow setup right now that sniffs a ftp directory from my PC, and downloads any new images. Then it reads metadata looking for specific keywords, opens the image in photoshop and performs actions based on those keywords, then uploads the image back to the ftp server.. all automatically. So this leads me to question number four:
4. I doubt Shuttersnitch does this, but is there an app that pulls images from an ftp server using 3g, and loads them into the Ipad's photo directory?
Thanks for any response!
