Re: Overlay for alignment

Hey that's fantastic! I just love it when my feature requests are already implemented.

HA!

That works perfectly. RTFM? <g>

Thanks so much...

Overlay for alignment

Here's something that I've been wanting frequently in SS that would be amazing. A big part of my business is creating photo composites. Basically I shoot a background somewhere else, and then shoot the subject in the studio against a seamless and then extract them in photoshop. SS is of course valua...

Re: Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

Bingo! I did have a password in the FTP settings dialog, but there was a typo between my superuser password in snitch and what I put into the WT5. It works perfectly now. I have it set up to send Basic jpgs to the SS/iPad while saving NEFs to the card. And it only takes about 3 seconds per jpg! This...

Re: Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

I'm shooting both RAW _and_ JPG and did have the SS settings set to Accept only JPGS (on), and I just turned it off so it would accept either. Still no luck. When I shoot an image the status light on the WT5 flashes and then goes dark. Then when I play back the image, the status light turns solid gr...

Re: Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

Sounds like you are at home and have an Apple Airport router. When it clicks over to the 10.0.1.X IP address go to the iPad's settings (or if you know what network that is) and click on that network and choose "Forget Network". You can add the network back later, but you need the iPad to ...

Re: Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

To MadDawgJ: Yes, the iPad is connected fine to the adhoc network using 192.168.1.123 and I plugged in the "snitch" password as the ftp password in the WT utility. To TheBrew: Yes, I did what's in your first sentence. But ah HA. When I enter a collection, most of the time it says IP 10.0.1...

Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

Hello there, I am trying to get my Nikon D4 and WT-5 working with an iPad2 but can't seem to make a successful connection using Shuttersnitch. I set it up using your guides for the WT-4a using the Adhoc method, using 192.168.1.1 for the IP address and 255.255.255.0 as the subnet mask. I chose 192.16...
