Re: Canon eos R

Deleted the wi-fi settings in camera and started all over. Now it works! Beautiful! If you had previously connected the camera to the EOS app, the camera will only connect to *that* app and reject others. Resetting the setup and doing a clean connect will fix that. Good to hear you're up and runnin...

Re: Canon eos R

Hm. Looks like the camera doesn't accept the connection.

Maybe try a completely clean pairing (pick another Set on the camera ..if I remember correctly you have 3 available)?

Re: Bug with the Capture Time variable

OK, so iOS can read some metadata - looking into it!

Update: Hm. OK, I have a check to see if it's a JPEG file before I move on.. Must be from the old days when non-JPEGs could cause crashes. Today I feel more safe - I'll open up for all types of files in the next version. Thanks for reporting this!

Re: Canon eos R

Sounds about right (except for things not working of course..) This would be the guide to follow for a direct camera to iPad connection. You don't mention the setup guide, have you gone through that? (Collection overview -> Options -> Setup Guide -> Canon EOS / High-end PowerShot) If you're still ha...

Re: Bug with the Capture Time variable

If the file is not a JPEG, ShutterSnitch asks iOS for the metadata for it.

If iOS can’t help, I fall back on the import date.

Re: Linux Print Server Issue

I probably should've made this more clear from the beginning. There is one resource that is *very* precious to iOS developers and that's the private beta device slots. We only get so many free slots from Apple and once a device is added it can't be removed for a whole year. So I have to be very very...

Sorry to stress, but I need to install it on another iPad by this saturday September 7 latest.

Thanks.

My best guess would be around September 13.
