Re: Canon CR3 raw files now supported

It all happens in the background and can take a little while, so ‘waiting’ could be the solution. When I struggled with it years ago, it started working a little while after I connected my iPad to my Mac (that was able to parse CR3s at that point). It could be that it synced the parsing ability then...

Re: Canon CR3 raw files now supported

The solution is to force iOS to download the CR3 raw parsers. You can do that by saving a CR3 file to the Photos app. If you have one in ShutterSnitch, tap and hold it in the filmstrip until it lifts up, then use another finger to exit ShutterSnitch and enter the Photos app - and drop the lifted thu...

Re: Shuttersnitch Whatsapp problem

However can I ask if the image in terms of image colors seems saturated on the photo when sending via WhatsApp. I know its a compressed file however in the past the color of the image remained the same. Do you think this new process effects the image color? I'm thinking that perhaps it's if you've ...

Re: Variables in caption

I list them here: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1919#p8229

Re: Time Zone and EXIF problems

Nice!

I assume this is HEIC files directly from the camera and not JPEGs converted to HEIC in ShutterSnitch?

If so, feel free to attach a vertical HEIC file and I'll see if it's something I can do anything about on my end.

Re: Time Zone and EXIF problems

It would probably be good to let them know that there's an issue there, yes, so they can fix it for all their customers. As I was trying to figure out a workaround for you in ShutterSnitch I discovered a bug with negative time zones (negative as in "less than zero" :). I'd only been testin...

Re: Shuttersnitch Whatsapp problem

I assume it's a WhatsApp issue and they'll fix it at some point. If you transfer the photos just to share them in WhatsApp, perhaps another solution could be to set up an Action to resize them a tiny bit when they arrive in the collection. That'll overwrite the original file and flatten the image th...
