Re: Canon 1DX Mk II w/ethernet cable and adapter to iPhone

Wonderful! The hardest part with FTP setups is what you just went through. From now on it should “just work”. Happy shooting. :)

Re: Canon 1DX Mk II w/ethernet cable and adapter to iPhone

According to that log, the FTP server in ShutterSnitch is still running on port 26000. Are you sure it’s changed to 21 in the ShutterSnitch settings?

Re: Canon 1DX Mk II w/ethernet cable and adapter to iPhone

All those "M-SEARCH" lines are related to the PTP/IP support being on. You can turn it off if you're just going to use FTP. (ShutterSnitch settings -> 'PTP/IP (NIKON WU / EOS UTILITY)' section) It doesn't really matter if it's enabled or not - but it is using CPU, so you'll get better perf...

Re: Canon 1DX Mk II w/ethernet cable and adapter to iPhone

Another thought: Just in case your home wi-fi is also using the 192.168.1.x range - I'd change the manual ethernet addresses to 192.168.2.2 for the iPhone (and FTP server address) and 192.168.2.1 for the camera. As you can see I also flipped the suffix for the phone and camera so the camera is the ....

Re: Canon 1DX Mk II w/ethernet cable and adapter to iPhone

Hmm. All of that looks fine to me. First, just be be sure (it's been an issue for a few users before) double check the FTP port you've set in the camera setup is 26000 - with 3 zeros. 2600 can look like 26000 in the heat of the moment. :) Try going into the ShutterSnitch settings, scroll all the way...

Version 5.2.7 (Approved)

* iOS 15 related bug fixes. Including one that would freeze up swiping between photos in the Grid mode browser if image overlays + fit to photo were enabled.

Re: Swipe

OK, bedtime here. I can tell you it's related to Image overlays.. If you want to work around it, but lose overlays while you wait for me to fix it, here's what you've got to do: * Go to the Image Mask overlay setup and remove the checkmarks for both portrait and landscape for the mask you've set up....

Completely different code, so not so mysterious. :)

Thanks for the config - will test now.

Update: Wonderful - it fails with your configuration in my simulator. :) I'm looking into *why* right now.
