Re: Connection EOS 6D MARK II

Alright. Go back and make sure the Host field is blank then - it's best if it's blank when using a Canon camera. Going back to something I missed earlier: You said it works with "Remote control (EOS utility)". You should not be picking that option when you go through the camera setup. You ...

Re: Connection EOS 6D MARK II

There's a (tiny) chance it'll work with an active subscription - if Canon's 1.1.1 firmware changes the protocol to the one I later added support for for EOS R cameras. If you don't want to subscribe, maybe it'll work with a direct connection if you go into the ShutterSnitch settings and put in 192.1...

Re: Connection EOS 6D MARK II

Does it also fail if you have an active subscription?

Re: Shuttersnitch on M1-BigSur

Is there a setting so specific that location?

You can right-click the thumbnail of a photo and select "Show in Finder" to see where it's at.
And no, the location can't be customized.

Re: IPTC subject code

That would be the "Subject Reference" field in ShutterSnitch.

Re: Sync work on two different iCloud accounts

The solution is what I said in my first reply: buy another subscription on the other Apple ID. It’s another $3 a month. I’m afraid there’s no other way as it is.

Re: Sync work on two different iCloud accounts

I'd love to *try* and see how (or if) Family Sharing would affect my income, but once I flip the switch, Apple explicitly states there's no going back. Which pretty much means the difference between me paying my bills or not. I make just enough to get by, so I can't risk it, sorry.

Re: Sync work on two different iCloud accounts

Thanks :)
The subscription is tied to the Apple ID, so the only way of having an active subscription on two IDs, is to pay for two subscriptions.
On the bright side one subscription covers all devices signed in with the same Apple ID. (I know that doesn’t help in your situation though, sorry.)

Re: Sony Alpha 7R IV'PC Remote, pairing problem

Just an update: I meant to write "Go into the ShutterSnitch settings, find the " General " sub-page and turn on "Collection Pane" at the top of the page." Version 5.4.1 is now submitted and waiting for Apple to review it. As soon as they approve it, it'll show up in you...
