Re: How to connect Canon EOS R5

Good news: Nick was kind enough to help me get PTP transfers working with the R5 Mark II. The latest version 7.3 lets you transfer files using the Smartphone connection option. No FTP setup needed.

Re: sino

Good news, if you don't like the fiddly FTP setup: the latest 7.3 update makes R5mk2 work with PTP transfers using the Smartphone option on the camera.

Re: Forced to a new Apple-account

I’m afraid that’s out of my control. Apple handles all the account / monetary stuff, so they are the ones you need to talk to. Re: sino

I don't have an R5mk2, but according to this post it sounds like you have to set it up to transfer using FTP instead of PTP.
No idea about R1, sorry.

Re: MacBook subscription

If you click the Apple logo in the top left hand corner on your Mac, click 'App Store', then click the 'Store' menu option and click 'Account', you should see a list of your purchased apps. Click on 'Account Settings' at the top of the window and scroll down to the 'Manage' section. You should see a...

Re: GFX 100s II - Pictures aren't saved on camera

I'm afraid that's just how tethered shooting works on the Fujifilm cameras.

The camera deletes the photo from the card once it's transferred. I don't have a GFX 100s II, but on my various other Fujifilm cameras I don't see a setting to avoid this, sorry.
