Re: D4 + Wt-5 to Shuttersnitch

I just got the new iPad Air 2 to replace a slower Air 1 and am wondering if there is a super easy way to switch over? It's been a while since I set up the Air 1 and the instructions are a little blurry now. I remember there is a device identifier and am wondering if it will do the trick if I just ch...

Re: new iPad Air?

Is there anyway to turn off analysis of images? I don't really use that function - just want a preview of the photo. And I think analysis adds to processor load and resulting time to receive and display take. thx A Any luck getting 3.0 approved?

Re: new iPad Air?

ok thx for the reply. I use SS all the time to proof images as I shoot ( clients and subjects love it! ) But I find that if I'm shooting fast it'll get behind and eventually get so far behind that it's not helpful anymore. And it's also difficult to view images other than the one loading while SS is...

Re: Nikon D4+WT5+New IPad

I have a Nikon D4 and WT5 and just got the new iPad and a D-Link router DAP1350. First off: I found that using a infrastructure network connection rather than ad hoc is much more reliable and robust. This is particularly true for the WT5 which seems to have a weaker signal / range than the WT-4A. It...

Re: Nikon D4+WT5+New IPad

See Rob Galbraith's website and review of the D4 for his tip. He strongly suggests using a router to make the connection with your iPad/ WT-5. I just bought the D-Link DAP-1350 pocket router and hope to have it set up later this week. I'm getting decent transfer/ display times with my 1st gen iPad b...

Re: Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

Brian, So I decided to try your settings instead of Rob's and bam worked first time. I think there are subtle IP addressing differences, Open vs Shared setting for Wireless Authentication and WEP64 encryption key is only 5 characters ( which I made my Snitch password too. ) I did use Nikon's new Wir...

Re: Nikon D4/WT-5 and Shuttersnitch on iPad2

Hi Brian, I'm having a devil of a time getting the Snitch to work on my new D4 with the WT-5. I had it working great on my D700 with a WT-4a ( after a bit of struggle! ) I've read your guide and Rob G's tutorial for the WT-4 I am pretty sure I can configure camera network settings, my iPad's wifi se...

Re: Setting up your connection

Viola! So I finally got it set up correctly and working last week. See my post above for Rob Galbraith's excellent instructions. I did have to tweak a few things to get it to work though: I made the password the same as my five letter encryption key. My iPad never asked for an encryption key so it w...

MobileMe gallery export

May have issues with Apple but I'd love to be able to post selects from a shoot to my MobileMe gallery ie a web page for easy client viewing. Similar to iPhoto or Aperture ability. Thx!
