Re: Subscription-based - what do I get?

Thanks for that very thorough answer. This is a terrific piece of software and an absolute must-have for a mobile workflow. It's certainly worth $2.99 a month to keep you working on bug fixes and updates, so I'll subscribe ASAP.

Subscription-based - what do I get?

I see via an in-app notice that ShutterSnitch is now going to be subscription-based; you can keep using it as-is, but you need to subscribe to get future updates and new features. Can you give me an idea of WHAT I'm likely to get in the way of updates and new features for my US $ 36 per year if I su...

Re: Eyefi Mobi Pro setup

I have a ShutterSnitch/Eye-Fi Mobi/iPad/mobile router solution that has been working perfectly for years. But tonight I couldn't get ShutterSnitch to launch (would crash back to main screen as soon as collection browser appeared) and I had to delete and re-install the ShutterSnitch app to get back i...

Re: Push now works with X-Pro 2 (w firmware 4.00)

I know there's a setting in the Cellular Data pane for "Set Up Personal Hotspot," but I've never used it, so I'm not sure what to tell you. What I can tell you is how I set up the X-Pro 2 to communicate through a regular WiFi router (I carry around a RavPower mobile router to create the co...

Push now works with X-Pro 2 (w firmware 4.00)

I was SUPER pleased to discover the wireless tethering/push feature added in ShutterSnitch for the X-P2, and even MORE pleased to discover that it works with my X-Pro 2 since installing the firmware 4.00 update. This means I can retire the Eye-Fi card that was tying up the second card slot in my cam...

Re: Snitch Sync Lightroom extension

It's working for me on LR 5.3.

I couldn't get the demo version to work, but I gambled the 5 euros on the full version and that one does work. It saves me a lot of time.

Import from RAVPower FileHub?

Hello and Happy New Year -- Are you aware of this device? http://www.ravpower.com/ravpower-rp-wd01-filehub-3000mah-power-bank.html It's a portable WiFi hub that can share files from a built-in SD card slot. It has gotten good online reviews, isn't terribly expensive (about US$ 45 on Amazon) and I th...

Re: LUMIX GX7

I had to send back my GX7 for other unrelated reasons, but I can confirm that it does work with ShutterSnitch. For the GX7 you use the newer "Lumix Image App" rather than "Lumix Link," but it sets up just the same way as described in theBrew's instructions. Incidentally, I found ...

Crowdsource: which cams w built-in Wifi work with Snitch?

We're seeing more new camera models with built-in Wifi, but it seems that many of them are taking the disappointing route of working ONLY with the camera manufacturer's app. (The Olympus E-M1 and Fuji XE-2 apparently are examples. Boo.) It would be great if all manufacturers made their built-in wifi...
