Re: My last Eye-Fi card just unalived... now what?

I would want to limit the stuff I need to get things going. I just want to turn my camera on, open ShutterSnitch and take photos. My sentiments exactly. I'll keep this in mind if I find myself in the market for a new camera. Meanwhile, I just ordered an EZ Share card on eBay (Amazon no longer lists...

Re: My last Eye-Fi card just unalived... now what?

Other than that, I know this is a crazy "solution": ..a different camera brand? Yeah, I know, but if Fujifilm hardware doesn't offer the ability you need, the only real solution is a camera that does. I don't know that it would make sense to change systems JUST to get wireless that will p...

My last Eye-Fi card just unalived... now what?

Hi, I've been using ShutterSnitch since 2010 and just (last month) paid another year of subscription, so I hope I can ask a fairly detailed question!... For years I had a GREAT system in place that depended on ShutterSnitch, an iPad, and an Eye-Fi card. I could shoot photos with my Fujifilm camera, ...

Re: Subscription-based - what do I get?

Thanks for that very thorough answer. This is a terrific piece of software and an absolute must-have for a mobile workflow. It's certainly worth $2.99 a month to keep you working on bug fixes and updates, so I'll subscribe ASAP.

Subscription-based - what do I get?

I see via an in-app notice that ShutterSnitch is now going to be subscription-based; you can keep using it as-is, but you need to subscribe to get future updates and new features. Can you give me an idea of WHAT I'm likely to get in the way of updates and new features for my US $ 36 per year if I su...

Re: Eyefi Mobi Pro setup

I have a ShutterSnitch/Eye-Fi Mobi/iPad/mobile router solution that has been working perfectly for years. But tonight I couldn't get ShutterSnitch to launch (would crash back to main screen as soon as collection browser appeared) and I had to delete and re-install the ShutterSnitch app to get back i...

Re: Push now works with X-Pro 2 (w firmware 4.00)

I know there's a setting in the Cellular Data pane for "Set Up Personal Hotspot," but I've never used it, so I'm not sure what to tell you. What I can tell you is how I set up the X-Pro 2 to communicate through a regular WiFi router (I carry around a RavPower mobile router to create the co...

Push now works with X-Pro 2 (w firmware 4.00)

I was SUPER pleased to discover the wireless tethering/push feature added in ShutterSnitch for the X-P2, and even MORE pleased to discover that it works with my X-Pro 2 since installing the firmware 4.00 update. This means I can retire the Eye-Fi card that was tying up the second card slot in my cam...

Re: Snitch Sync Lightroom extension

It's working for me on LR 5.3.

I couldn't get the demo version to work, but I gambled the 5 euros on the full version and that one does work. It saves me a lot of time.
