Re: The most stable SD card

I've tried the Transcend card, and in my (admittedly limited) experience, it's worse than the Eye-Fi card. It's also slower and works on fewer camera models.

Re: Olympus support ever?

Or it would be nice if manufacturers could supply you with documentation or even an SDK (sigh... no chance, I know...)

Olympus support ever?

Hello, I'm a longtime ShutterSnitch user and a Micro Four Thirds shooter. I use Eye-Fi cards, but would like to get away from them because of various stability problems, so have been looking at cameras with built-in WiFi support. I tried a Panasonic Lumix GX7 but didn't like it, so now am investigat...

Re: Version 2.5.4 (Submitted for review Sept. 28th)

Were they just being snarky, or was backpack mode causing problems? Since updating to iOS 6, I've been noticing some stalling of transfers when backpack mode was in use, but I was guessing I had a wonky EyeFi card. Also... Of course I would not dream of thwarting the will of Apple, but a hypothetica...

Re: Version 2.3 (Submitted April 9th)

Just got the 2.3 update. I take it that contrary to what Galbraith posted, "backpack mode" and cache size settings did NOT make it I to the release version? Or am I just missing something? Thanks...

Oops, dropped my Zalip router! Now what?

Yes, I dropped my Aluratek Zalip CDM530AM mobile wireless router (the one that Rob Galbraith recommended in his article last September, and that I demo in my YouTube video). Worse yet, the Zalip is shown as out of stock on every place I looked, including Amazon, B&H, and Aluratek's own website! ...

Re: This will be interesting...

http://www.eye.fi/press-releases/great-images-and-instant-gratification-with-eye-fis-direct-mode-the-mobile-solution I wish I could attend CES and check out booth #3615 :) Yeah, I wondered what your take on that might be. Interesting that other than the initial announcement, I haven't seen any othe...

I did a setup video

In case anybody would like a video walk-through to supplement the excellent written instructions in this forum, I just posted a tediously detailed one to YouTube here:

Re: App price

The price may be high by App Store standards, but is very reasonable for what it does. (If you spend $700 for a Nikon WT-4 wireless transmitter, you know what they give you for receiving software? Nothing, that's what! If you want to do on a laptop what ShutterSnitch does on an iPad, you need to giv...

Re: Authentication Key error

If you dismiss the dialog box, do the images transfer anyway? That's the behavior I get on my iPad.
