Re: Eye-Fi Pro X2 or Eye-Fi Mobi Pro?

What happens when you try to add the network to the other cards? Does it give you an error message? Also have you run through the Eye-Fi set up in ShutterSnitch to enable the other cards to upload to ShutterSnitch?

Also make sure that the Eye-Fi app is not running on the iPad or it will interfere with ShutterSnitch receiving the images.

Re: Eye-Fi Pro X2 or Eye-Fi Mobi Pro?

Personally I use old 3G MiFis because I can get them really cheap used and don't care about data speed since I don't use that feature also since I already had one I can use the batteries out of the others when I don't need them running. If you don't need portability like that then a plug in home rou...

Re: Eye-Fi Pro X2 or Eye-Fi Mobi Pro?

I'd recommend a portable router. The Direct Mode network is not handled very well by iOS (and seemingly worse each update). Any router, either a "home" style or battery powered, will create a much more reliable and stable connection and work with your current cards. I would bet that that w...

Re: Eye-Fi Pro X2 or Eye-Fi Mobi Pro?

Have you formatted the Pro Cards lately? You won't lose any settings but it will clean up the memory and help performance. Are you using a router with your setup?

Re: Eyefi Mobi Pro setup

Dario, Check that the ravpower is in router mode not AP (access point). AP mode will isolate all equipment connected from talking to each other. Try that and then try running through the Eye-Fi Card's settings again and re-add the ravpower's wifi network to the card. Then open ShutterSnitch and enab...

Re: Eyefi Mobi Pro setup

Give me a couple minutes or so to see what I can find out about the ravpower but I strongly believe that it is by default (as many portable routers are) set with a firewall enabled that we will need to turn off so the card can communicate.

Don't worry, we are here to help.

Re: Best practices for event photographer

Good points Jayce. On the morphie, that or one like it definaty. I carry my back up charge and the charger for it. I don't have time to be stuck at an outlet but I can plug that little thing in and recharge it. I use a 3" Cord for the USB charger to battery backup to keep it small but mine is l...

Re: Eyefi Mobi Pro setup

If they haven't already Eye-Fi Customer Care is going to want to see the card log. So would I. It is what will let us see what the card itself is doing. Also does that router have a firewall and if so is it enabled or disabled? To get the card log: Take five pictures and leave the camera on Wait fiv...
