Re: Another display mode

In the mean time if you have a laptop to bring along check out http://support.eye.fi/support-resources/tips-tricks/accounts-multiple-cards/can-i-create-a-slide-show-that-automatically-updates-as-i-upload-photos/ for ways to set it up using a computer. If you are really savvy then the PlayStation 3 c...

Re: Problem getting to iPad, Where is Gotcha?

Eric, Are you using a network that has an internet connection? Is the iPhone on the same network as the card? In order for the Eye-Fi Card to know that it is now supposed to upload to the iPhone and not the computer it needs to get that setting from the Eye-Fi server. As a work around you can try th...

Re: Which card to use

You can see the cards and their features side by side here: http://welcome.eye.fi/compare-eyefi-cards/ and you can check if your camera is compatible, and if so with what cards, here: http://support.eye.fi/product-info/came ... my-camera/

Rover Pre-Paid 3G/4G Hotspot

http://rover.com/home.htm?_targetStateId=home Anyone else checked this out? Seems like the ideal device to use for ShutterSnitch since it should work fine as a router w/out internet connection (at less then most Cradlepoints) but has the added benefit of if you need 3G/4G service for a shoot it's on...

Re: Problem getting to iPad, Where is Gotcha?

Also make sure you are in range of the network: [04:57] None of the 0 configured wireless networks detected among the 2 within range. the 0 is not accurate, but the fact that neither of the 2 networks in range are configured is. Also a FYI: If you are going to post a log, it is much more useful to i...

Re: 1.1.5 Version of ShutterSnitch doesn't work with eye-fi

P.S. Checked out your site Paul, love the General Portfolio, but so you know the other portfolios lead to non-existent galleries on SmugMug

Re: 1.1.5 Version of ShutterSnitch doesn't work with eye-fi

if your position is that I should not expect the combination of Shuttersnitch and EyeFi to work reliably then I'll get rid of the app now. It seems like it is working fine, I get the impression that it just is not working fast enough for you, is this not accurate? I believe that is what TheBrew was...

Re: Aluratek battery-powered wireless router

Most portable routers like that work fine with out a data modem. I do not know about that particular one, but I can tell you that the Cradlepoint routers work fine with out internet connection and I have used Eye-Fi Cards over many of them with out a data connection, but not ShutterSnitch though.

Re: Connecting via 3 'Mifi'

Is the MiFi set up to use DHCP? If you try adding the network regularly does it make it all the way to contacting the Eye-Fi server or does it fail before that? (when you add the network as out of range the card does not test anything about the network it just saves the info as you typed it)
