Re: Looking for app to compress image files

I do not, but it’s less than a month and hopefully less than a few weeks? (And of course there’s no telling how long if Apple decides to reject for some obscure reason :).

Re: Looking for app to compress image files

No beta sorry, and yes, it'll be the very last step so any watermarking and resizing will already have been applied.

It's going to take a little while to get right and test all the scenarios, but just know it's coming. :)

Re: Looking for app to compress image files

Hi Peter, I'll be adding a "Recompress to max filesize" pre-processing option to the next update. It's a tricky problem to solve since the compression option when saving JPEGs is really just a quality setting from 0 to 10. So it'll be a bit taxing on the system, effectively just trying to ...

Re: Canon CR3 raw files now supported

Weird. No love on my iPad mini 5th gen. Anyway, all I can say is ShutterSnitch uses the system framework to load the photo and if it fails it falls back on the embedded JPEG. So if you're getting the embedded JPEG, the system didn't supply a parsed raw. And I can rule out it being a bug in my app si...

Re: Canon CR3 raw files now supported

From where did you learn that it's supported on the latest iOS? I'm running 14.4 and it doesn't seem to be able to parse these CR3s. Neither the Photos app or the system framework apps can use to read images. (I test the parsing capability by adding the CR3 to my Photos app on my Mac which syncs wit...

Re: EOS R5 Auto-import Support

It’s not, no. With FTP, it’s the camera that does all the work. The auto-import talked about in this topic is related to PTPIP connections where it’s ShutterSnitch that does the transfers.

Re: EOS R5 Auto-import Support

Turns out it was because auto-import only works if you’re a subscriber. (Functionality added after going subscription based. :)

Re: baseboard

No (well, aside from tapping the photo to go full screen). I'll look into making it a setting.
