Re: Shuttersnitch Whatsapp problem

Alright! If possible, ShutterSnitch will share the untouched original file, and perhaps WhatsApp has issues parsing it as its flattening the file. (Social apps usually "flattens" images - re-renders them without most metadata such as geo-location data). Maybe it'll help sharing a JPEG in a...

Re: Shuttersnitch Whatsapp problem

Exactly how do you share the file via ShutterSnitch? Are you doing it from Filmstrip mode or Grid mode? How do you share it? (Do you, for example, tap and hold the thumbnail in the filmstrip and then choose 'Share'?) Do you watermark the photos you share? Do you edit the photos before sharing from S...

Re: Shuttersnitch Whatsapp problem

Does the cropping also happen if you share to a computer or email? I don't use WhatsApp but the shared file is the same regardless of the target, and I can't reproduce the issue on my side. There is no code in ShutterSnitch that crops portrait photos to be landscape or square (but a *bug* can cause ...

Re: Super user password been reset

Hi Mike! I'm very curious where you got the information that you need iTunes for that? Because you're far from the first one who's brought that up, and I'd love to remove/update that info with the actual solution! You now reset it via the in-app Settings -> Advanced page -> Reset Superuser Password.

Re: New HEIC bug? (Blank thumbnail after deleting file)

Ouch! Not HEIC related, happens with all types of files. The file *is* deleted, it's just the empty thumbnail that stays around. You've probably discovered you can get rid of it by deleting it afterwards. I've fixed it in v7.0.4 and will be submitting the fix to the App Store later today - thanks fo...

Re: Time Zone and EXIF problems

Alright, that's too bad then. When I look at the meta of the file, the offset is there..
