Re: And another thing...

I hope we're not going to get TheBrew too discouraged with all these! But... When I start a session using an Eye-Fi card, I often get a warning dialog saying "An Eye-Fi card is trying to connect but it doesn't seem to like your authentication key." The images transmit anyway, even while t...

Re: Setting up your connection

That icon represents the Eye-Fi Helper yes - if this is open when you test the transfers, they will fail and this may be your problem(?)

I'll dive down into your log now. In the meantime, if you haven't had this program closed, try closing it and test the transfer again. Hope that's it :)

Re: Setting up your connection

Hi Cal,

The file you attached is the Eye-Fi Helper log, not the one from the card. To get the log from the card, connect the card to your computer, go to the Eye-Fi Helper menu and choose "Get Eye-Fi Card log".

Re: Bug reports area

If you pinch the picture, does the missing parts show? (Is the image just zoomed a liiitle too much)

If you tap the picture once, to show the complete picture without navigationbars, do you see the whole picture?

Re: Setting up your connection

Hi Cal, I've heard from one who said the exact same thing - and then got a mail the day after that he had gotten it working by turning all the option off except for uploads to the local computer. In the logfile he sent, I could see that it never tried to connect to the app - just talked to eye-fi-se...

Re: What's to come

1.1.2 is approved! Will be out within 24 hours. Two notes on the upcoming 1.1.3 release: 1. Good news (hopefully) to people seeing images rendered with the lower part grayed out. I'm pretty sure I found (and fixed) the problem. The original image is fine. It's the cache image that is funky. 2. Trans...

Re: Feature requests area?

I just used .doc as an example for "other files" - it won't mean more programming. There won't be any features connected to the different formats, just the possibility to also upload those or attach them to a mail. As you would do with a JPEG.

Re: Setting up your connection

FTP transfers are just one file at a time, so ShutterSnitch doesn't know what comes next in a transfer. It's therefore not possible to do any sorting or preferred download sequence. The program receives files, it doesn't request them. How the files are delegated is totally up to the transmitter - Sh...

2ndNature's own wishlist

Editing/viewing full EXIF/IPTC details Yup. Search Once you can add comments to images, you need search. No way around it. And I have some nice ideas, but it'll take time. Export contactsheet Would be nice to be able to mail a JPEG with thumbnails and filenames of selected images. Bag-/diskmode Thi...

Re: Feature requests area?

Done! You could just turn RAW transfer off in the transmitter(?) or do you see this as a convenience thing, so it would be easier? I've been tumbling a little with this. The files-other-than-JPEG. Sometimes I use ShutterSnitch just to transfer a file from one place to another - kinda like a wireless...
