ShutterSnitch Backup (Mac only for now)
The app will run in the status bar and detect your device when ShutterSnitch is running. It'll then backup any new/changed files to a specific folder on your Mac.
Download ShutterSnitch Backup

Via iTunes.
Connect your device to your computer and open iTunes. Click the device in the left pane and click the Apps tab. Scroll down to File Sharing and click ShutterSnitch to get access to the "Shoots" folder.

Via iExplorer.
Connect your device to your computer and open iExplorer. Click Apps and find ShutterSnitch > Documents > Shoots from there.

And last, but not least, my favorite, because you don't need any cables:
Via an FTP client.
This is very easy on a Mac using a client that supports Bonjour.
In ShutterSnitch, go into the collection you want to get access to. Then:
Using Transmit (a must have, worth every penny) click the Bonjour tab. Double-click the device it's found and put in your username ("snitch" per default, but can be changed in your Settings) and password (your superuser password in ShutterSnitch).

Or using the freeware/donationware FTP client Cyberduck follow the same procedure as above.

On a Windows computer, use the FTP client of your choice. WinSCP for example? When setting up a connection, you'll need to put in the IP address that you see when you enter a collection and the port (default is 26000). Username and password as written above.
