Export JPEG with Image Adjustments to Camera Roll?

Postby roberte » Sun May 20, 2018 3:52 am

Is it possible to Pre-process raw files as JPEG to Camera Roll?

I see how to save to Camera Roll as the original raw. And I see how to export to Other Location as JPEG using Pre-process.

You just found a bug - thank you for pointing to it!

Saving adjusted raw files should of course just save it as it looks - adjusted and as a JPEG. This will be fixed in the next version.

Until then, there's a workaround: Go to the collection overview, tap the 'Options' button and tap 'Watermark'. Then 1. Make sure 'Saving to Camera Roll' is turned on and 2. set up a blank watermark:

Tap 'Edit', 'Add watermark', drag the 'Transparency' slider all the way to the right (making it completely invisible) and set 'Text' to say "Blank". Then go back to the previous screen and make sure, in case you have more than just that one watermark, that only the 'Blank' watermark is checked off.

Now, when saving to the camera roll, ShutterSnitch will be forced to apply your blank watermark - and will turn it into a JPEG. And during this process, it uses the adjusted image.
