Update Shutter Snitch for new Sony A9 ftp transfer

Sony has recently updated the software in the A9 to send photos via ftp.

Has ShutterSnitch looked into this?

Unfortunately, that post is dated 2017.

Sony provided an ftp transfer firmware in the past month or so.

Shutter Snitch software would probably have to be updated to work with the new firmware.

Being able to transmit from camera into my phone/ipad while shooting would be quite useful.

I’d be surprised if ShutterSnitch needs to be updated. FTP is just a standard file transfer protocol. The changes are most likely to something leading up to the transfer.

I could of course be wrong - do you have one that doesn’t work with this functionality?

It could very well be user error.

I would like to be able to push a button or two and have the photos I select end up in my iphone.

The Sony Play Memories app is problematic. It keeps disconnecting from the camera after every transmit. I can only do one image at a time.

I was hoping your software would enable me to transmit photos, continue shooting and edit the photos in the phone when I take a break from shooting. I cannot make that happen.

OK, I see.

ShutterSnitch doesn’t “log into” the camera and adds functionality. It’s more of a receiver of what the camera throws at it.
