Workflow for merging SS image rating into LR?

I just did a photo shoot for about 100 student dancers. I set my camera to capture both Raw + small JPG files and the jpgs get sent to SS for parents to “5 star” the images they like the best. ..... Here’s where I’m trying to improve my workflow.

Is there a way to somehow export the ratings and merge them into the raw files in LR? There seems to be some tricks of importing & linking both JPG & Raw files at import. What if I export the graded jpgs from SS to my computer and put in the same folder as the raw files and import them?
