I have the same card, and I'm able to add new wi-fi networks using the "Eyefi Mobi" application on my Mac. It looks like it's still up on their site, but they call it the "Desktop" application and brands it "Keenai". It's also available for Windows.

If you don't already have it installed, you need to add the card using the code that was on the box / case when you bought the card. Once you're through the setup guide, you go to its preferences, click the "Mobi Cards" tab, select the card on the left, select the network you want to add and then click "Add Network".

thanks for the info, it works like you said!
I could setup the new wifi network but unfortunately the eyefi didn't send the images to ShutterSnitch.
On my canon 5ds I could see that it was connecting to the network and transmitting the photos but the app wasn't receiving them. I don't know where they went.

I think I will try my old router and network to see if it works.

If there are more than one receiver on the network, the card will transfer to the first one it discovers. Maybe the Keenai app was still running on your computer, and it sent to that?
Also, since the card is now on a new network, it has to do a new scan for receivers and that may take a little time. So make sure ShutterSnitch is open and you’re inside a collection while it does that. It can take minutes and it’ll stop the scan once it finds a receiver, so try it with your computer off just to be sure.

Eyefi Mobi Pro setup

Postby domga » Fri Mar 01, 2019 11:52 pm

Hi,
now I have a problem with eyefi mobiPRO. Card don't want to connect with ipad. I would like the card to not connect through local wi-fi network.
When I try to send photos from the camera (canon 6d) I get the status of "merging" and there is no connection to the iPad.
I performers one by one of instructions by this forum.

I have installed keenai desktop on Windows. When I made the command "notepad C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Eye-Fi\Settings.xml". Windows gave me warning: "the system can't find the path"...

I assume you meant you want to connect through local wi-fi and that "not" was mistyped?

The Eye-Fi app was replaced by the Keenai app some time after I wrote my initial guide - so the "\Eye-Fi\" part of that path is probably more likely "\Keenai Desktop\" on new installs.

I don't use Windows, but I'm currently installing a Windows 10 virtual machine to see if I can figure out the right path for you. (Which version of Windows are you running?)

Alright, it looks like the Keenai app uses sqlite databases now. To help you find the key, I'll need a couple of files from you. (Or, let me know if you don't want to share them, then I'll try and guide you "blindfolded".. :)

In Windows, press the Windows-key + R. That'll open a command-window. Type:
Code: Select all
start C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming

That'll open an Explorer window and you should see a "Keenai Desktop" folder in there. Go into that one. There should be a "Mobi" folder in there, go into that one too.
Inside the Mobi folder you should see a "client" and a "server" folder. I'm not sure which one holds the database with the key, so if you could send me both, that'd be great.

Click the "client" folder and then, while holding down the Control key on your keyboard, click the "server" folder. Both folders should now be selected. Now right-click the "client" folder and pick "Send to"->"Compressed (zipped) folder".

The folders should now be compressed to one file you can attach in a post here. I'll remove it from the forum as soon as I have it.

OK, copy and paste this link into the Safari address bar on your iOS device:

Code: Select all
shuttersnitch://?setKey=Removed&forMAC=Removed

Once you tap Go, it'll ask if you want to open ShutterSnitch, do that and it should say that it's added your card key. Now, ShutterSnitch will know what to say when your card reaches out to it.

Also, it's a good idea to save this link somewhere, so you can add the key again in the future if you should reinstall ShutterSnitch or install it on another device.

Thank you for helping me out with the Windows files, I'll make sure the guide is updated later today.

(Let me know when you've added the key, so I can remove it from here..:)

key installed in ShutterSnitch but card doesn't send photos to Shuttersnitch. There is a message "connection" next "sending" next "disconnect" but there are no photos in SS. Keenai Desktop in PC is closed.
