i will try to work my way through the guide over the weekend and let you know if i can make it work.
On first attemt i could not see any MAC adresses in the settings.xml. Not sure if the PC that runs the X2 Utility must be connected to the same WLAN Network like the Eye-Fi card is using? My PC is connected via LAN, i use the WLAN only for my mobile devices....

When you install the X2 Utility it'll ask you to insert the card into your computer. After that it'll have you transfer a photo (at least that's how it works on a Mac).
Once that is done, the information should be in the XML file.

Can you still use all Eyefi cards as there app no longer works ?
