Still no luck, I started over from scratch again by formatting the card with the camera, rebooting the ipad. I used the Keenai software on my pc and removed wifi connection then completely removed the card and re authorized it and added the wifi network back on. In the Keenai software I noticed a download button so I did that and it proceeded to download 120 images to my pc. This was a random assortment of the images I have taken trying to get this card to work along with images that had been taken with my other mobi card and even some images I had taken with my IPhone. I let it complete the download closed the program on the pc and then turned on the IPad and opened the link you provided to get the card key code. Your code was different from mine so I was hopeful. I did get a dialog box saying the key had been activated and ShutterSnitch opened. I make a new album and took some photos and the card appears to still be set to all zeros. This is what the traffic inspector had to say during the process.

Camera did say connecting and transferring but I have no idea what it was connecting to or where the images may be going.

OK, I just double checked: The key link you posted is not for the card in you're trying to transfer from.
It doesn't match the MAC address in the card log you posted. You need to supply the key for the card that has MAC address 00-18-56-xx-xx-xx.

You say "pc" so I'm assuming you're not on a Mac? If so, I can only try and point you in the right direction. Here's hoping this works:

Press the Windows-button + r on your keyboard and run this command:

Code: Select all
notepad C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Keenai\Settings.xml

Does that open Notepad and display the contents of the settings file?

It does open notepad but a dialog box comes and it says the system cannot find the path specified.

OK, You'll need to find that file and get the key as described here.

I don't know what the easy way is in Windows. Search for 'Settings.xml'? Or perhaps open the Explorer and navigate to what would logically be something like C:\Users\-your username-\AppData\Roaming\Keenai\Settings.xml - could also still be a "Eyefi" or "Eyefi Mobi" folder instead of "Keenai".

I found this settings.xml file in a folder called C:\Users\***\AppData\Roaming\Eye-Fi\Settings.xml

This was the contents in notepad:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<Config version="2.1">
...
</Config>

And there's your key :) So you type the following link into Safari on your iPad, and ShutterSnitch should say it's added the key and be able to authenticate when the card wants to send photos!

Code: Select all
shuttersnitch://?setKey=018937cc6423xxxxxxxf6a3d1a763&forMAC=00-18-56-xx-xx-xx

Sorry that it has to be so complicated, but Eyefi closed off the easy way. :/

Having connection troubles again. Can you take a look at this traffic inspector report and see if something looks out of place? Camera says connecting but it never connects? I've done a low level format of the card and reset the IPad.
