Over saturation

How come images edited in SS even just a crop are saved with an increase in saturation?????

Adjustments are saved in the sRGB colorspace. My guess is that your original photo is shot in Adobe RGB or a high dynamic range colorspace.

And why is that as a Professional photographer why would I ever shoot in sRGB? I should have a choice in the color space. If all I do is use SS to caption then share to LR then now change to color space or saturation. Only if I use SS to make an adjustment. It also has issues with one of my clients server not recognizing the files.
