Help and ask for help on Transcend Wi-Fi card related problems

My first impression

Firstly I have to add a extra line to the quickstart explaination:

Turn on your camera and go into the Settings app on your device.
Tap the Transcend network that appears in the Wi-Fi section.
Return to ShutterSnitch and go to options - settings and under WiFi cards enable Transcend transfers
Now enter or create a collection.
When the card connects you will see a message at the top of the screen.
Then take a photo and watch it arrive!

I just received the card and it works very good. In ShutterSnitch it is working as a follow shot so already taken pictures will not be transfered.

Now connected the iPad to the network generated by the card and it won't automatic reconnect and I have to do that manual. I have switched off request for connection and to my router the iPad connects automatic.
When connected you have to leave the collection and enter it again to have ShutterSnitch reconnected again.

I am using a Android device to configure the card and it is connecting to the card a lot faster than my iPad and on my iPad it will take around a minute before the connection is made.
My Eye-Fi is connecting to MyWi on my iPad in less than two seconds and that marginally slower than on my Android device (Galaxy S2).

Sadly the Transcend card will not connect to my MyWi 5.05 hotspot on my iPad so I will keep on using my Eye-Fi due to the slow WiFI reconnection speed of an iPad.
Also a big advantage of an Eye-fi card is that it will transmit pictures taken before. I am sure that ShutterSnitch going to catch up on that because the Transcend card has bidirectional traffic so ShutterSnitch can request the not yet transmitted pictures.

It is very nice to just be able to browse the pictures in a web browser on any device once connected to the Transcend card and it will be time that Eye-Fi is going to move to that also giving us more abilities with their WiFi SD cards.

Update: as of version 2.91 of SS auto reconnect to the card without having to leave and enter again the collection.

Good points - looking into it!

I noticed when I switch-off the camera and the connection is lost ShutterSnitch will display a message that a connection is made to the card and this is the opposite from what is happening.

I now know why the card does not see the MyWi hotspot on my iPad and that is because it is an ad-hoc hotspot. I need to generate a infrastructure hotspot for this card.
