What we have here is a failure to communicate...

Attempted to use Lumix Link mode in shuttersnitch yesterday.

I used to use an eyefi card in an Olympus, but updated to a Panny GH3.

Originally was getting Eyefi enabled in connection status message within collection window. Uninstalled Shuttersnitch on ipad, did a soft reset of ipad, re-installed shuttersnitch, No connection... The Panasonic app works correctly and connects to the camera right away.

this was direct mode by the way. Not using a wifi router.

Have you tried repairing the camera and ShutterSnitch since you reinstalled the app?

I'm not quite sure what you mean by re-pairing. The app doesn't seem to want to communicate with the camera at all. I followed the instructions that came with the release which are also posted here in his forum.

I'm looking into why the camera doesn't respond to notifications in Direct mode. All I can say for now is that infrastructure mode does work.. (New Connection -> Send Images While Recording -> Smartphone -> Via Network)

Thanks for getting back to me. I'm looking forward to having this work, as most of my use of the app will be in direct mode.

That sure took some time to figure out..

Check out this post for the fix. I'm hoping that I can find a way to avoid this step. But for now, that's the solution.
