Raw support and resolution

Postby olemwold » Mon Jul 15, 2019 3:25 pm

Hi,
So I’ve noticed that transferred raw photos are not showing right resolution. In this instance I’ve used a Sony a9, but I’m guessing this goes for most raw formats.

Files are 6000*4000 for the a9 but shows up only as 1080* 1616 and they stay this resolution after export too.
File size seems correct.

Care to shed some light in this?:)

TIA.

ShutterSnitch asks iOS to read Raw files. Raw support is basically "whatever iOS gives me". It seems that Sony raw files have a small image parsable by iOS and it just offers that.

New iOS versions / updates could (could) introduce full support in the future.
Support the development of ShutterSnitch: Rate/review it in iTunes, Tweet about it, make Youtube videos, blog about it.. Get the word out.
