Hey,

I tried again from scratch. Deleted the old Bluetooth connection on my phone, rebooted the iPhone. Reset the communication settings on the camera, rebooted the camera... but still get the message "Connection target not found". Sorry.

Hope you can get your hands on a R6 MK II.

Cheers.

Oh, and just in case you've been trying to connect via Bluetooth: ShutterSnitch doesn't support Bluetooth. Only Wi-Fi transfers.

So if there was a step in the pairing guide where you picked Bluetooth instead of Wi-Fi, that would explain any issues..

I've turned off my Bluetooth now on the iPhone and on the camera. But in the "connect to phone" process I have to turn the camera's Bluetooth on. Otherwise I can't go further...

Still no connection!

Aha.. Interesting.. Like Nikons once did too. Luckily they listened to their customers and made Bluetooth optional. :)

Well, I hope I can work around it!

Oh, and you don't have to turn off Bluetooth on your phone. It's just that ShutterSnitch doesn't use it.

Whereabouts in Denmark are you?

I just turned Bluetooth off on the iPhone to test it.

Well, well, Leo! I have good news for you!

The problem is, the smartphone connection on page 1 of the connections tab forces you to pair through Bluetooth ..but if you go to page 2, you can avoid Bluetooth altogether:

* Press the Menu button on your camera and navigate to page 2 on the purple connections tab.
* Select "Advanced connection".
* Select "Connect to smartphone(tablet)".
* Select "Add a device to connect to".
* When it pops up a QR code, just press "SET" to move on.
* Select your wi-fi access point and enter the pass code or pick Camera access point mode if you want to connect directly.
* Select "OK" when it asks "Connect to this smartphone: ShutterSnitch" and off you go! Take a photo and it'll transfer.
