1dX mk1 WFT-E6b Connection

Postby Cloughie » Wed Aug 23, 2017 12:55 pm

Hi Guys.
Managed to get hold go the WFT-E6B.. thinking it was going to be an easy connection to set it up...been tearing my hair out.
Called Canon, spoke to a lovely lady, who hung up on me...lol

This is my first setting up of the WFT and not done any wft-Fp work previously. Can some give this old git a heads up in terms i can understand.

Want to connect it to my shutter snitch app on my iPhone.
Thanks

I don't have experience with those, but according to this thread it looks like the WFT-E4 guide should work. (Doesn't say which one though.. But staying away from ad-hoc is the best way to get things going.)
Support the development of ShutterSnitch: Rate/review it in iTunes, Tweet about it, make Youtube videos, blog about it.. Get the word out.

Connected. Why hey.

I used the connection guide, but was thrown when i downloaded the app, it gave me an ip address to use. I used these instead of the supplied on the instructions and connected first time..Connected via adhoc 11g.

Thanks
