everything works fine, ad-hoc and infrastructure.
the only difference from the eyefi pro and WFT is that the images that I shot before opening the connection are not transferred automatically.
thanks!

Yup, agreed. With the R it's easy to browse from shuttersnitch and select a range to download, or from the camera's protect a range menu, you can select a range and it will automatically start sending them to shuttersnitch. It's actually better than my 1dx2 since you can quickly select a range.

great work!

Hey, So I'm struggling to get my EOS R to connect, I will keep working with that.

One more immediate problem I am having now is that I can't selectively send images from my 5d4 since the update. I have set the "New and Protected" setting but everything I shoot transfers.

New and protected will send every NEW image. So set it to protected only.

Hello, Still having a little trouble with the EOS R and Shuttersnitch. I can connect the camera and select images to download from the inside the app but I can't protect images in the camera and have them sent to shuttersnitch.. I must be missing a setting but I can figure out which one. Any ideas?

Do new photos get transferred as you take them?

If you go into the ShutterSnitch settings and tap the 'Download' row in the PTP/IP section, which option is selected? (New files, Protected files, or New & Protected files?)

Note that if a file is already been transferred once to the collection, protecting it will just cause ShutterSnitch to ignore it to avoid creating duplicates.

If none of this helps you, try going into the ShutterSnitch settings, scroll all the way to the bottom and turn on Traffic Inspector. Then pair up with the camera and try transferring a photo by protecting it. Then copy the log and paste it in a post here.

No new files don't get transferred transfer when taken.

The download setting is currently set to Protected but I have tried it on New and Protected as well.

I'll send a log file shortly.
