That is correct. I have the camera connected to the iPad with an ethernet adapter into the Lightning port. It is not the Apple brand but it has worked previously.

OK. The thing is, ShutterSnitch only shows the IP for the first active network interface it finds (which is usually the wi-fi network). If the iPad has more than one network interface, you'll need to go into the Settings app, find the network adapter there and configure it to have the static IP 192.168.0.2 / and mask 255.255.255.0 in your case.

Ok. The iPad has been set to manual throughout this process with the static IP/Mask you mentioned. So even though it may show the network IP, it can still be connected to the static IP?

Yes, with multiple network interfaces on your device, you can have some with static IPs and some with automatic configuration (and your Wi-Fi should be set to Automatic).

With multiple ethernet interfaces, each one needs to have its own IP range. Your wi-fi is on 10.30.x.x and your camera+ethernet adapter is on 192.168.x.x.

ShutterSnitch should* still be open to incoming traffic from the static one you've set up.

Do you see any errors in the Traffic Inspector when the camera tries to connect?

* Well, it's been working in the past, I hope Apple didn't break something..

I got nothing. I tried the static IP and the network IP and still can't connect. I don't see any errors popping up on the traffic inspector. Im just not sure what I am doing wrong.

If you see nothing in the Traffic Inspector, then the camera doesn't reach ShutterSnitch at all. So it's something about the camera setup or the static IP setup in the Settings app.

Can you list them again as they are now, so I can see if I can spot something?

Sure. I restarted my iPad. I will walk through all of the steps and post all the IPs involved.

Ethernet Connection -
IP - 192.168.0.2
Mask - 255.255.255.0

Wifi Connection -
IP - 10.30.29.221
Mask - 255.255.192.0

Camera IP -
IP - 192.168.1.2
Mask - 255.255.255.0

FTP Mode on Camera -
FTP Server - 192.168.1.20
Port - 26000 - Was 00021 but changed it to 26000

logged in with SS credentials
Selected Root folder

Cannot connect

On the set up guide in SS it says that the host IP is 10.30.29.221.

Ignore the setup guide - that's for the 99.9% who don't have more than one ethernet interface on their iOS device. :)

If the camera is on network 192.168.1.x and the iPad is on network 192.168.0.x they can't talk to each other. Both have to share the first 3 numbers, and the 4th has to be unique.

So you need to change the static IP on your iPad to be 192.168.1.20 - that should do it.

So keep the FTP Server IP the same?

Update - Changed the iPad IP as suggested. No dice. Changed the FTP server IP to the wireless IP. No dice.

Yep. The "FTP Server" field tells the camera where to look. The FTP Server is ShutterSnitch, which runs on your iPad, which has the ethernet adapter with IP 192.168.1.20. :)
