hello,

i am trying to set up the following: Nikon D850 + WT-7 + iPad using the nikon wireless trasmitter utility.
but so far i didn't get to an happy end.

here the steps i am following:
1. choose "wireless lan (wt-7)
2. create a new profile with connection typ: FTP upload
3. communication mode: access point

4. the ftp server is what i got from the shuttersnitch collection i created.
what do i need to put for the FTP path?

Hi Ronny,

It's OK to leave the FTP path blank.

I think the issue is this: Once you connect to the WT-7 network, the iPad will obtain a new IP address different from the 192.168.1.7 it has on your local wi-fi network.

Try joining the WT-7 network via the Settings -> Wi-Fi. When you're connected, tap the blue 'i' to right of the network name, and you'll see the IP address. Then go change the 'FTP server' setting on your camera to that IP. (Or, if you can't change it on the camera, go through the profile creation steps again and put in the right IP.)
