Now go verify that the FTP Server address in your camera WT setup matches that number. If not, that is the problem and you need to update the setting.

It is very likely that your WT gives your iPhone 4S one address, and your iPhone 8 another.

I have changed it now. without success

If you want to look over the setup guide, you can find it here.

I assume you chose the same superuser password as the one on your iPhone 4S when you installed ShutterSnitch on your iPhone 8? If not, you have to update the password on your WT FTP Server setup too.

If that doesn’t help, perhaps turning on the Traffic Inspector (at the bottom of the ShutterSnitch settings) will help - it will log any connection errors.

You say it works on your iPhone 4S. If you go to the ShutterSnitch settings on it, what does it say in the 'FTP port' field at the top?

Notice how your IP address just changed from 192.168.1.20 to 192.168.1.10?

The IP address is like the door-number in a building. If you set up the camera to knock on door 192.168.1.20 but the iPhone is actually behind door number 192.168.1.10, it's not going to hear the camera.

So make sure the FTP Server IP address in the camera setup is the same as the one you see at the top of the screen when entering a collection in ShutterSnitch.
