Suggest away - maybe I'll like the idea :)

Hmm £22 paid in august plus 8.99 for editing and a further 8.99 for metadata only to find out I now have to subscribe to something I have already paid for

Lol.. Great!

So I guess, yes Jayce, there's a bug: at that point you should have been presented with the "Sign up for a subscription" dialog..

And you don't need iCloud to be turned on, no. It's just an added nicety to have things synced between devices if it's on.

Sorry, Mitch, you paid for what the product was at that time. You didn't pay for future features.

Good to hear. And sorry to be a downer, but I have to pay the bills somehow. :/

Brian a quick one.

Can I save Metadata presets in the iClould folder too? And will they show up in SS like the code replace does? Only asking as I do work for a couple of agencies and both require different datasets, plus my own various ones too.

Currently, only Code Replace files work with iCloud Drive. But now that I have an understanding of how it works, I imagine I’ll be expanding the use in the future. :)

Only trouble is, boy can things go wrong when working with syncing files..

I here you! Maybe instead of iCloud storing them in the files manager folder? I do events where I attend on behalf of a client, but also myself depending so being able to choose IPTC presets based on client work from a folder would be great.

Jayce

Ps: been using code replace all morning just becauseI CAN. Should really be working

A massive thanks from me for adding code replacements. It was the only thing missing from my workflow. Well worth the annual subscription alone!
