ShutterSnitch | For Cardreader with new iPad Pro

Dear ShutterSnitch,

great great program. It would be fantastic to use it non wireless.
With the new iPad pro with USB C I can use my USB C Cardreder.
But no program gives me all the benefits of SN. Renaming Action etc.

Magic to use the iPad with that too

I’ve said this to Brian before but worth a memtion again. If Snitch had the ability to read from a file manager (hard drive) and more editing features it would be a fantastic alternative To Lightroom (I prefer Snitch to LR for some jobs using the actions).

I also said I would pay a one off premium for these too!

I also would mention that it is just Brian so I am sure features are on his radar and is just time...

I was one of the early adopters of Snitch and glad it’s stull around, supported and updated..

I’ve been using an iPad Pro with a card reader for over a year now.

You can’t change the iPad from using the photos app for ingesting so I use that and then go through them all and keep the ones I want to use in SS by making them favourites.

I open SS and create a collection with a title I want to use as filenames. I have an action set up to do this and add a number on the end so they become collection_name_001.jpg, collection_name_002.jpg etc.

I then import to SS and select the favourites folder as the source.

I can then edit/crop and use ftp to send them out.

Access to card readers and other storage devices connected to the USB-C port is currently exclusive to the Photos app. There are rumors Apple with open access to third parties in the next iOS version.
