Background color in "Adjust" mode does not change to white

Postby avlk » Thu Feb 23, 2023 9:20 am

Hi! I have set in Settings -> Browser -> Background color to "White" but white collors only appears in "Browser" mode and not in "Adjust". Previously, this setting was applied to all modes like in Lightroom. For me white background during editing is important.

Thank you!

Thanks for pointing it out!

I'll make sure its fixed in the next update. Until then, it actually works in the Zoom mode in Image Adjustments, so you can just switch to that while adjusting the colors instead of being in the Crop mode.

The background in develop mode is still not white... When I process photos for a website with a white background this is critical. Especially when editing under bright sunlight. Could you make the background completely white in this mode please?) Thank you!

If you need a completely white background, you need to switch to the Zoom tab.

In Crop mode, the "background" is actually foreground-borders indicating the crop. Pinching/rotating the photo will crop the photo to those borders. The slight transparency is a way to see if the photo is currently cropped.

While I have the crop mode pen out, why not include a few tips: :)

* Double tap the image to reset the zoom back to 100%.
* Two-finger double tap to rotate the photo to the nearest 90 degree angle.

Update: Geez, I just discovered the editor doesn't restore which tab was previously selected, so it always starts in Crop mode. Wow, that's bad. I'll make sure it remembers in the next version!
