How to connect 2 ipad with wifi card

I try to connect two ipad and more, with my wifi card!

Any idees?

The Eye-Fi card will only send to one receiver.

You could set up one iPad as the main receiver and then have that iPad send new incoming photos to the other iPad(s) via Actions.

For this to work, all iPads and the Eye-Fi card would have to be on the same wireless network (so Eye-Fi Direct Mode won't be an option).

1. For each iPad you're going to send to, enter a collection and note the IP it listens on.
2. On the "master receiver iPad", enter a collection with some photos in it. Tap the export-icon on the far left in the toolbar and pick a picture or two. Tap the Export button and choose "Other location". Tap the Edit button and for each iPad you want to send to, add a new FTP location with the Host IP, username, and password (usually "snitch" and the super user password). Tapping the location should transfer the files if you're inside a collection on the other iPad.
3. In the collection overview on your master iPad, tap the Options button in the top left-hand corner and pick "Actions". Then tap "Edit" and tap "Add new task". Give it a description and tap the plus-button and tap "Export to location". Pick the iPad location you created in step 2. If you have more than one iPad, tap the plus sign and add the other ones too.
4. Tap the back button, tap "Done" and turn on the "Enable Actions" button and make sure that there's a checkmark to the right of the task you just created.

Now files should be transferred to the other iPad(s) when it arrives from the Eye-Fi card.

I want to build up a photobooth. Therefore I want to create the following option:
Photobooth with an IPad (including shuttersnitch), Eye Fi Card and cam. The guests make pictures, see them on the IPad. Now my question:
Is it possible that the Eye Fi Card sends the picture to the IPad and also to a Macbook where I can print the pictures the guests want to have? If it's not possible, how can I solve these problem?

The Eye-Fi cards only sends the photo out once. And only to one receiver.

So what you'll want to do is have ShutterSnitch transfer new photos to your Macbook after receiving them.

There are many ways to do this but since you have a Macbook the easiest way is to install ShutterSnitch Backup on it. It will automatically get all new files if the iPad and Macbook is connected to the same wireless network.

Thanks for your answer. My IPad has only Wifi, not 3G or 4G. Eye Fi is used with the Direct Mode. Do I need WLan to receive the pictures from the IPad on the Macbook? How does it work exactly? Is it possible to connect the IPad and Macbook to the same wireless network, if I use Eye-Fi and connect it in the settings to my IPad

Direct Mode will only let one device connect to the card so the iPad and the MacBook will not be able to communicate. A wifi network will be your best bet, I would look at the pre-paid Mifis. They can be used as a router only with out any data service, but since they do not need a contract you can add data to it if you will need it one month so they have more versatility over the contract ones. That is what I use for a portable router, if you shop around you should be able to find them on sale or even used for prety cheap.

Then just set up the card to use that network and connect both the laptop and iPad to the network as well.

If you have more than 2 devices that have to talk to each other, Direct Mode is not an option in your workflow.

So for your idea to work you can't use a Mobi card for example (which only works in DM). You'll need an X2 Eye-Fi card or an older Eye-Fi card that can join a wireless network.

And yes, you'll need a wireless access point / router for the three devices to talk to each other.

Okay, so if I buy an Apple Airport I could use the system? Apple Airport creates an own WiFi. The Macbook and IPad use these WiFi. Which Eye-Fi Card I need exactly if I run these system without direct mode?

Yes, an AirPort wi-fi router would do the job.

Just make sure you don't get an "Eye-Fi mobi" card. All the other Eye-Fi cards will work just fine.
