After I import images in the field sometimes I use the image editor to crop the image to focus on the subject of my image.
It'd be super helpful, if during the cropping process that the image dimensions be displayed, preferably dynamically as it's resized, before the image is saved. Please correct me if this is already covered and I'm just not seeing it!
At the moment I crop my images and then run an action that checks if the image size is less than 4000px, if it is, the image is tagged yellow for lower res' and if it's greater than 4000px the action resizes it.
Thing is, when an image is tagged as yellow as being below the pixel threshold defined in the action I can't seem to find where the true dimensions are displayed (am I missing this?), it would be helpful if I could avoid that stage altogether by knowing at the cropping phase that the cropped dimensions are below, say, 4000px and I'm not ftp'ing an image that is rejected for bing too small!
If I review the image and select the "Info" option it merely shows the original imported dimensions of the image that are embedded in the Exif data and not the newly cropped dimensions.
The media wi-fi at some venues is woeful and even when using 4G connections depending on stadium spectator numbers towers become saturated and the images just sit waiting to be sent to the server by way of FTP so I resize images (even non cropped) to help get my images out.
Thanks!
